plastic diamond ring

This ring is produced by state of the art stereolithography techniques.
A special highly transparent body is built around the diamond core.
The concavity of the ring creates a magnifying effect,
so the diamond appears to be bigger then it actually is.
Paradoxically the intricate fabrication of this ring costs several
times more than the brilliant cut diamond within.
This new production method was developed and manufactured
together with Z-Werkzeugbau from dornbirn/austria.
